The standard currency of Kemberi is the ecu (symbol ⌀), minted on the island of Manoro and issued by the Continental Bank. Each sovereign territory also manages a local currency indexed to the ecu.
Four coins circulate: gold ($40,000), silver ($2,000), bronze ($100), and copper ($5). Their value follows a 20:1 ratio (1 gold = 20 silver = 400 bronze = 8,000 copper).
The copper ecu, or penny, is the coin of everyday trade. Its hundredth part is called a cent. This unit exists across all currencies indexed to the ecu, ensuring a common standard for small purchases, micro-transactions, and accounting.
