Metamorphs possess a rare magical aptitude: the ability to freely modify their physical appearance. Their transformation can affect the entire body or only specific traits such as height, body structure, voice, or facial expressions. The most experienced individuals can adopt entirely new forms while maintaining perfect physical coherence.
Metamorphosis is not merely a change of appearance. It represents a genuine adaptation of the body itself. The metamorph’s flesh adjusts its structure, mass, and proportions in order to reproduce the chosen form with precision. This process requires considerable mastery, as every transformation relies on concentration and mental stability. The more complex the desired form, the greater the effort required.
A remarkable characteristic of metamorphs lies in their ability to reproduce the appearance of clothing, ornaments, or carried objects. When adopting a new form, their bodies can generate the complete illusion of a different identity.
